THE VILLA COMMUNITY BY NAOMI WILLIAMS WHO LIVES IN THE  UPCOMING AREA AND IS THE HEAD OF FOREMARKE SCHOOL

Naomi please tell us about your family? Naomi: please tell us about your family?

I have been married to Billy for 11 years. Billy is a Captain at Fly Dubai and we have two gorgeous girls; Molly who is nearly 10 and Mimi who is 6.

You live in The Villa Community; an increasingly popular area for those that want space from the city of Dubai. How long have you lived there and what do you love about it?

We have lived here for 3 years, firstly in a Mazaya A3 in Hacienda and then we moved to Ponderosa to a Granada. We love The Villa! It is established, well landscaped with really good sized villas for the price. We have a small community centre with SpinneysCosta Coffee, ATM and the all important Tips and Toes!

We have some really good friends who also live in The Villa which is so important for socializing and getting together for BBQs or pool parties for the kids. My daughters and their friends have tennis coaching at the courts at The Villa and the younger ones also have private swimming lessons also organized by the tennis club in one of our villa pools. I have also started having tennis coaching at the club in The Villa in a bid to get fit before I am 40 next year!

What are your favourite spots within the area? Cafes, sport, restaurants etc

Definitely the tennis club and being able to cycle on the paths in the cooler weather to other villas or to grab a coffee and a cake at Costa. Billy makes use of the paths to get in a few runs each week as well.

You are the headmistress of the highly esteemed Foremarke School. Where can prospective parents find out more?

Foremarke School is in Al Barsha within easy reach from The Villa. I have been Headmistress at Foremarke for nearly 2 years now and it really is a lovely school. It is a small school by Dubai standards and we really emphasize both our academic successes with the development of the whole child through strong pastoral care. Look at our website for more information www.foremarkedubai.org or pop along to our Open Morning on the 10th October from 9-11am or our Open Day on the 11th November from 9-12pm or alternatively email my Registrar registrar@foremarkedubai.org directly.

Finally, what advice would you give when renting in Dubai?

Go with a good agent! Nicola Collins at Tregoning Property who is based on The Villa will give excellent personal attention to the type of place you are looking for. Renting can be a bit of a minefield so a good real estate agent who you can trust is a must.
